I bought this for my son who recently took part in the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme expedition with his school. He said that the food tasted good and was easy to prepare in the pouch provided.
Absolutely horrible. But I ate it all!
I finished my plate! These are the worst sausage and beans I've ever had, I took them on my silver dofe and definitely won't be taking them on my gold. The beans are fine. The sausages aren't. I'm not expecting a fresh salt and Black pepper sausage from the butchers but, I can guarantee you the mud on the bottom of my boots taste better. The only reason why I did eat it was because I was dead after the first day of silver. It's worth buying the canned stuff from a supermarket even if it weighs more.
