Tent Groundsheets and Footprints
Tent footprints or groundsheet protectors as they are also known, are designed for just that - protecting your groundsheet. A tent footprint slides underneath the bottom of your tent and helps prevent abrasions from tough ground and stones. Not only will this help protect your groundsheet from tears, it also adds an extra layer of insulation, keeping your tent floor off of the cold ground to help keep a little more warmth in your tent.
