Used on the first expedition of Mt Everest, this waterproofing spray will keep your clothing, footwear and equipment protected.
A highly effective silicone-based water repellent treatment for clothing, footwear and equipment. Comes in a 400ml aerosol can and dries to an odourless and colourless finish.
How to Use:
Ensure that the fabric is clean using Grangers’ Universal Cleaner. Shake Fabsil aerosol well and spray evenly from a distance of 10 to 15cm. Lightly rub in any droplets that form with a soft, clean cloth. Allow to dry completely before exposure to rain or dew.

Great for small water proofing jobs
Was impressed with the performance on our tent, I used it to cover a patch repair and rain runs right off. If you are planning to cover large surface I would recommend the larger container and a brush on application.

Hi.
I've used this product to treat my Lichfield Apache 3 tent, after a long no-use. Sadley, even after a very light rain, bot of the tent's layers got soaked and let all the water in. I had to pack up and ended up sleeping in the car.
I'll go and try Nikwax tomorrow!

I bought this proofer as I have used this make for many years all over the world and in all types of conditions, it still is as good as ever.This purchase was for a rucksack re proofing no rucksack covers for me.
The product was well priced. Easy instructions, and easy to use. It did run and drip a bit, so best to have a cloth or paper towel ready. I haven't had time to check how well it works, but time will tell.
