Love it

Had this for years. One of the best bits of gear I have when you want a fast boil with minimum fuss. Pair it with the stove attachment and you can use a regular pan on it to cook breakfast.

Such a fast boil....

Such a fast boil. Might have been better with the bigger size though as it’s not quite big enough to do a dehydrated meal and a cup of tea in one go. Other than that I can’t fault it, will need to wait and see if it performs as well in cold temperatures though, but doing well so far in a Scottish summer.

This cooker is no Joke!

Jet boil is easy the best out there. Uses such little gas to boil water and dose this in a blink of the eye. The time it takes to get your mug and stick a tea bag it and the water is done

Brilliant bit of kit. Lightweight , easy to set up and easier to use. Boiled my water quickly in a very strong wind and in howling rain.
Can’t rate it high enough. The only issue seems to be the availability of gas canisters.

Great - but don't use the Jetfoil pan
4_5 out of 5

Love my Jetfoil - it is superb for fast hot water. Boil in the bag heating can be a little hairy as the water tends to spit as it boils so fast, but it is doable. However - do not use this with the Jetboil 1.5l pan. the heat generated by the Flux ring on the pan melted the black plastic that supports burner. Despite the Jetfoil website saying the Zip stove can be used with the Jetboil Pan. I have contacted Jetfoil direct and so far not had any recognition that this is a design error. Think I'll get the Sumo next time

I used this great piece of kit on a wild, wet, walk up Malham Cove/Tarn a few weeks ago. Quick & easy to get going & it's pretty light too which is always a bonus.

Astounding

After using several different cooking systems over the years,I purchased this Jetboil Zip, wow what can i say it's fantastic. Travelling light and not wanting to have anything to bulky, the ability of this cooker to pack all inside its main cup is great, admittedly its not as small as some cookers but you have to bear in mind that with those very small cookers you have to also carry something to cook in and fuel separately, where as this is all in the one package. Boiling time is as stated around 2 minutes, so not long to wait for your meal or drink. In conclusion I would have no hesitation in recommending this cooker to anyone no matter what your chosen outdoor activity is.
