Scarpa's most luxurious and comfortable 3-season leather boot.
The Scarpa Delta GTX Activ is a full leather 3 season boot which boasts Scarpa’s® 'ActivFit' technology for continual optimum comfort and performance.
Scarpa's ActivFit provides instant, out-of-the-box comfort and performance. Built on their superb BD last, it makes sure that your foot stays continually supported and secure, aided by AutoFit foam inserts in the heel area.
The GORE-TEX Performance Comfort Footwear lining is ultra-lightweight and extremely breathable, keeping outer moisture away from the foot and wicking inner vapours away from the skin.
Underfoot, the Biometric sole uses dual density PU to maintain the highest performance and quality. The midsole is reinforced with an additional moulded thermo plastic shank (TPU), and the Vibram outsole finishes it off.
BD Last
A recently designed last, allowing for exceptional foot-hold with enough volume for plenty of cushioning.
Vibram® Biometric
The new Vibram Biometric sole unit is lightweight yet extremely sturdy, anatomically designed for increased comfort.
Activ Fit Sock Liner
Scarpa®'s developed moulded sock liner specifically for men, providing the best comfort and support.
Heel Tension System
Offers great stability and adaptability to the severe stress derived from steep routes.
Ankle Padding
A special "MEMORY FOAM" padding that further improves the ability of self-moulding of the rear part of the upper. Very light and breathable, it keeps its dynamic memory, so it recovers its original shape after every use.
Autofit Collar
Ensures the maximum adaptability and comfort of the upper, resisting the impact stress on the Achilles and malleous area. Great performance and comfort on any terrain.
V-Flex
Allows a wider and more natural movement of the foot. The upper, in synergy with the lacing, wraps the foot in an optimal way for maximum comfort and support.
Speed Lacing
Allows the optional adjustment of the internal volumes of the shoe and the perfect wrapping of the foot, in a simple and quick way.

Scarpa footwear is made in European sizes, which allows for a more accurate fit as the 'gaps' between sizes are smaller. Each European size is roughly 3/4 of a UK size.
As with all walking footwear, we advise moving up a size from your normal shoe size to allow room for thicker socks and for your feet to expand during a long walk. If you fall between sizes you should always go for the larger size.
We have trained footwear advisors in all of our stores - if you have trouble finding the right boot for you please pay us a visit and we'll be happy to help. You can also find out more about choosing, fitting and caring for walking footwear in our online Footwear Buying Guide.
Had for 2.5 years, leather is cracking and the hell splitting apart. Done lots of walking but still tread left.
Sole is rounded which is OK.
Sending back to Scarpa for checking
No need to break in.
So comfortable. On my 3rd pair now. Only downside is that the rubber edging to the sole begins to deteriorate after about 3 years. I have used them excessively though over this time
Out of box comfort
Very comfy straight out of the box.
BUT
The soles don't clear. They get clogged and stay clogged leaving no grip. Even after walking back on tarmac for a couple of miles.
Scarpa say no issue.
This is my second pair in 7 years theas boots last
Excellent boots !! Comfortable straight out of the box
Discomfort out of the box. Not for wide feet. My actual size hurt to wear and my feet move around in the larger pair....and still hurt!
Very little cushioning and doesn’t absorb much of the shock.
Very well made boots, comfortable to wear and easy to lace up comfortably.
Excellent boots especially if you’ve got wide feet . need to be properly worn in though ,Don’t go and do 10 miles in them straight away. Had mine for 4 weeks now and have done 5 or so 15+ mile walks and they have given me no problems throughout .
After 3 months the leather on one boot started to crack and after 6 months had split through to the inner lining. On sending back to Scarpa they said it was normal 'wear and tear'. Never again!
Even after short walks these boots continually left the sole of my feet feeling sore. Changed the insoles to Superfeet Trail Blazer's - what a difference. No more sore feet. Great 3 season boot.
Great boots for rough terrain, slopes etc. I have been backpack hunting deer in these boots for 3 seasons now, Good as the day i bought them. Just keep up the Dubbin on the leather and store them out of the sun and they will last. Not so great for walking on flat tracks at speed.
I bought these boots in Summer 2016 and found them good for winter walking, but having several other pairs of boots they did not get lots of use as maybe a bit heavy for summer use. In December 2018 they still looked in great condition but the left one leaked. Go Outdoors helpfully sent them back to Scarpa for checking and Scarpa kindly replaced them, when at best I was expecting a repair. Well done Go Outdoors! Well done Scarpa! Hopefully this replacement pair will last better.
Bought them to replace a pair that was worn out. So far so good, very comfortable and seem to do the job well. Ask me again in a few years time.
Great comfy boots & great customer service from Go Outdoors. Their price match promise was no quibble & spot on.
It was clear that these were comfortable boots as soon as I put them on. The first time I wore them I went on a 16km hike (normally not a good idea for brand new boots) and my feet were absolutely fine at the end of the day.
The waterproofing works like a dream on paths although the ankle support is fairly low so you will need a set of gaiters if you are going through tall grass.
Leather boots can be more work to maintain but if looked after well then they will last years longer than fabric boots.
Overall these are a good set of boots and well worth the money if you are going to use them regularly. I use mine every fortnight or so. If you are just a casual hiker then a cheaper set of boots will probably suffice.
Nice boots good solids soles. They are reasonably comfortable to wear. Last pair of Scarpa boots lasted 10 years, these are not quite as comfortable, but hopefully they will last another 10 years.
After using several cheaper brands i decided to go for a descent pair. These are comfortable straight out of the box. Grippy soles and tough. Only complaint is the toe box is a little low and the flex point can sometimes hit my foot.
Tried on loads of boots...by far these were the best they felt more comfortable than my trainers !! My advice get what feels the most comfortable and supportive at the price you can afford...stay away from what looks the best...its true that you get what you pay for.!! ..tried them on a small 8k walk in the dales through mud, water, streams, in the river ( even over the top of the boot, by accident) over rocks..the result...?? ..didnt slip once !! kept my feet bone dry!! no aches no pains!! And they will last years due to the quality of the features and materials used..
Bought these boots 10 years ago to replace my old scarpa attack, which I had for my 18th birthday, I'll be 51 this year, says it all really, these have stood the test of time and distance, tough boots
