Rab was born in 1981 in a terraced house in Sheffield by renowned explorer Rab Carrington who was famed for his expeditions into extreme environments. Having been stranded in Buenos Aires, Carrington learned valuable experience and expertise in surviving in the outdoors, which when he arrived home he implemented into a newly formed brand – Rab. Today, Rab’s core fundamentals are exacting standards, ingenuity, and pioneering spirit. Rab manufacture rugged, high-performance mountain clothing and equipment protecting you from rain, wind, and other extreme elements.
